Data underlying the publication: Field observation of soliton gases in the deep open ocean

This dataset accompanies the study "Field observation of soliton gases in the deep open ocean". It provides evidence for the existence of highly soliton-dominant sea states observed in the ocean. All data were collected from wave buoys operated by the Coastal Ocean Monitoring Center at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. The dataset contains time series of surface wave elevations (in meters) recorded at multiple stations, which were used to identify sea states highly dominated by solitons. These measurements reflect real-world oceanographic field observations and can be used to reproduce the findings of this study.

本数据集配套研究《深海开阔海域孤子（soliton）气体的现场观测》（Field observation of soliton gases in the deep open ocean），为海洋中观测到的以孤子为主导的海况的存在提供了实证支撑。所有数据均采集自中国台湾成功大学海岸海洋监测中心运营的波浪浮标。本数据集包含多站位记录的海面波面高程时间序列（单位：米），该序列被用于识别孤子主导型海况。本次实测数据真实反映了海洋学现场观测的实际情况，可用于复现本研究的核心发现。
