资源简介:
The full name of this dataset is the "Chinese University Students' Lifestyle and Physical-Mental Health Dataset (2024)". It aims to systematically explore the correlation patterns between the lifestyles and the physical and mental health of Chinese university students, framed within the theoretical pillars of Lifestyle Medicine. Data collection was conducted between October and December 2024, covering more than 20 universities across various provinces and municipalities in mainland China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Sichuan. The survey participants included enrolled students across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. A total of 35,197 valid samples were retained after screening via an online survey platform (Wenjuanxing), achieving a response validity rate of 89.89%.In terms of data processing, the research team implemented rigorous quality control procedures . these included optimizing questionnaire logic through pre-testing, employing automated response validation and abnormal response detection mechanisms, and performing manual audits for duplicate removal and logic correction after data export. The dataset utilizes standardized coding and anonymization techniques to ensure participant privacy and data security. The dataset content is centered on a multidimensional indicator system, comprising three modules: lifestyle, physical health, and mental health. Lifestyle indicators cover dietary habits (Mediterranean diet, dietary awareness), stress management (HPLP-II), social support (LSNS-6), physical activity levels (IPAQ-SF, PARS-3), sleep quality (PSQI), substance use (tobacco, alcohol), and mobile phone addiction (MPIQ) . Physical and mental health indicators include self-rated health status, BMI, and standardized assessment results for anxiety (GAD-7), depression (PHQ-9), and perceived stress (PSS-10) .The dataset is stored as spreadsheet files (.xlsx format), containing a total of 35,197 records, with each record consisting of 82 variable fields. In the data tables, row labels represent unique anonymous participants, while column labels correspond to sociodemographic characteristics, behavioral scale item scores, and final calculated indices. Regarding the data sparsity observed in the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF)—where a significant number of participants reported zero values for certain activities—researchers are advised to analyze the results in conjunction with established test-retest reliability evidence from previous studies. The dataset utilizes internationally recognized scales; core instruments such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9 demonstrated Cronbach's α coefficients above 0.85, indicating high reliability and cross-study comparability.【Application Procedure】To access the encrypted dataset, please follow these steps:Download Agreement: Please download the attachment "CPMC_数据使用协议_Data_Usage_Agreement_V2.0" at the bottom of this page.Sign & Seal:Complete the "Data Access Application Form" and the signature page in detail.Student applicants must obtain their supervisor's signature as a guarantor. The Institutional Official section must be stamped with the official seal of your department or research management office.3.
