Fecal metagenomic sequencing was performed on high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obese mice to investigate the impact of Christensenella intestinihominis MNO-863 on the gut microbiome. The obese mice were randomly allocated into two groups: the treatment group, which received Christensenella intestinihominis MNO-863 supplementation while maintained on the HFD, and the control group, which remained on the HFD alone.
