Dynamic Rock-Slope Stability during Sliding Failure - Phase 2

This experiment was split into five series of tests, where four of the test series investigated sliding failures and the fifth series looked into the toppling failure mechanism of single blocks. The first four series of tests consisted of three unique slope configurations that varied between each test series. The slopes were all placed on a 28.5 degree ramp and subjected to an array of input motions. The final series of tests utilized sets of nine rectangular blocks with various aspect ratios (base/height) to investigate the initiation of toppling for each ratio.
