Transcriptome of Laminaria digitata treated with GG and 4HHE

4-HHE is a aldehyde that released from Laminaria digitata during the biotic and abiotic stresses. It has been considered as the signal molecules in the systemic and distance signaling in kelps. In our study, the treatment with 4-HHE can significantly reduce the consumption of grazers in Laminaria digitata. Therefore, we performed comparative transcriptome analysis using 4-HHE and GG, which is the other defense elicitor in kelp, to explore the molecular mechanism of defense response induced by 4-HHE.
