First-time sex among young adults in China 2019, by relationship length

According to a survey on the sex life in China released in 2019, over one-fifth of the young adult respondents waited more than six months before having their first-time sex with their lover. In comparison, around 11.4 percent of the respondents said that they had sex for the first time before entering into a relationship. In that survey, over half of the respondents revealed that they did not take any safety measures when having sex for the first time.

根据2019年发布的关于中国性生活的一项调查报告，超过五分之一的年轻成年受访者在与伴侣发生首次性行为前等待了超过六个月。相比之下，约有11.4%的受访者表示他们在进入关系之前就已经发生了首次性行为。在该调查中，超过一半的受访者透露，他们在首次性行为时并未采取任何安全措施。
