Built on state-of-the-art deep learning technologies and leveraging optical character recognition (OCR) techniques, this system acquires scanned images of vehicle driving licenses in natural scenarios, automatically detects the edges of the licenses, rectifies perspective-distorted images, and supports automatic recognition of images in any orientation and both sides. It can intelligently detect, locate and recognize the valid information fields on vehicle driving licenses, with an accuracy rate of over 99%.
