Cultural Orbiting in Motion: A 3D Dynamic Model of Yinyang-informed A/r/tographic Inquiry
收藏资源简介:
This is an original 3D dynamic model developed through my PhD research into intercultural understanding in visual arts education. The model visualises the methodological movement between yinyang philosophy, a/r/tography, and arts-based educational research. In this model, yinyang provides the philosophical orientation for understanding relation, imbalance, movement, and transformation; a/r/tography enables movement across my fluid identities as artist, researcher, and teacher; and arts-based educational research supports visual, material, and embodied ways of knowing. The orbiting top represents ongoing inquiry, continuously spinning, shifting, and working within and across in-between spaces. The changeable base suggests that this inquiry is always situated, moving through and being shaped by different classrooms, school contexts, curriculum expectations, assessment practices, and educational policies. As an original conceptual and visual model, it articulates my emerging concept of cultural orbiting. Here, intercultural understanding is not understood as fixed, linear, or complete, but as a recursive, relational, and situated movement of pedagogical becoming.
