BAF53A, an important subunit of the SWI/SNF epigenetic chromatin regulatory complex, has been implicated as the driver of diverse cancers. However, the role of BAF53A in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains poorly understood. Colorectal cancer cell line DLD1 with BAF53A high expression was selected for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. We sought to obtain gene expression profiles regulated by BAF53A in CRC cells. To that end, we transfected DLD1 cells with scramble RNA (scramble-1 and scramble-2) and sh-BAF53A (shRNA-1 and shRNA-2).
