Restoring the Eurobodalla Coast - Project 1

The project will result in improvements to the condition of existing native vegetation in the 110 kilometre stretch of Eurobodalla coastal reserves. Activities involve reducing weeds to allow natural regeneration of the existing vegetation and strategically planting in areas where the likelihood of natural regeneration is low. Construction of tracks and erosion control works will further aid the protection of aquatic ecosystems including the numerous estuaries and coastal environments and inspire participants and the wider community to learn about these important components of our environment. Activities will occur across all land tenures to enhance and increase linkages on a landscape scale.
