PHE-SICH-CT-IDS is an open-access CT image dataset developed by the Microscopic and Medical Image Analysis Group at the School of Medicine and Bioinformatics Engineering, Northeastern University, focusing on pericematomal edema (PHE) associated with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (SICH). This dataset includes 120 brain CT scans and 7,022 CT images, alongside corresponding patient medical information. The dataset development process involved rigorous data filtering and expert annotation, with the objective of evaluating the performance of semantic segmentation, object detection, and radiomic feature extraction methods via machine learning and deep learning approaches. The primary application domains of PHE-SICH-CT-IDS center on improving the diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes of patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage, particularly in the early detection and precise segmentation of pericematomal edema.
