Genome sequencing data generated for the production of a reference genome of a sample of the maned sloth, Bradypus torquatus from Brazil. This sample comes from the Southern population of Bradypus torquatus and is a pool of two individuals, one from Rio de Janeiro and one from Espirito Santo. This project includes the PacBio HiFi and Arima HiC reads from genomic DNA used to create the de-novo genome assembly.
