United Nations General Assembly Voting Data

This is a dataset of ideal point estimates based on roll-call votes in the UN General Assembly sessions 1-78 (1946-2023. (sessions 1-77). Note that most votes take place in the Fall but some votes also occur in the spring of the following year. In recent years more votes have taken place in the spring. Ideal point estimates are based on sessions rather than calendar years.

For raw UN votes, I now recommend that you use the data from the UNGA-DM project: UNGA-DM Database: https://unvotes.unige.ch/
