Duplex Stainless Steel 2205: EBSD and phase-map dataset of three heat treatment conditions

This dataset provides experimental microstructural data and reconstructed 3D Representative Volume Element (RVE) ensembles for Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 subjected to three distinct heat treatment (HT) conditions: HT1050 (1050 °C), HT1150 (1150 °C), and HT1250 (1250 °C). Contents: README.pdf: Detailed explanation of the data and how to use the Python script Raw EBSD Data (.ctf): Orientation and phase maps exported from EBSD measurements. Orthogonal Phase Maps (.npy): 2D phase distributions (1024 x 1024 pixels) for two orthogonal sample orientations: CS: Cross Section LD: Longitudinal Direction Resolution (HT1050 & HT1250): Pixel size = 0.211 µm (Field of View: 216. µm x 216. µm) Resolution (HT1150): Pixel size = 0.168 µm (Field of View: 172. µm x 172. µm) 3D Phase Masks / RVEs (.npy): Binary 3D microstructural phase masks (20 RVE realizations per HT state: RVE_0 to RVE_19) generated via MCRpy reconstruction.
