BEV sales per brand in France 2021

Renault sold the most battery-electric cars in France in 2021, at around 32,500 units. This was over 6,000 vehicles more than Tesla, which was the global market leader for plug-in electric vehicle sales that same year. Despite this result, fully electric vehicles only represented 12.1 percent of Renault's sales in France, with its petrol and diesel models recording a higher popularity.
