PSME2 mediates the progression of thyroid cancer by regulating PTPN12.

There are differences in the expression of PSME2 in human papillary thyroid carcinoma, but the role of PSME2 in papillary thyroid carcinoma is still unclear. In human papillary thyroid carcinoma TPC-1 cell line, the main genetic changes were explored after overexpression of PSME2. At present, it is found that PSME2 may be involved in the progress of papillary thyroid carcinoma by regulating PTPN12. This discovery provides a new therapeutic target for human papillary thyroid carcinoma, which is expected to improve the detection rate and cure rate of cancer.
