Peter Mason Guide to Records

The Peter Mason Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Peter Mason, a physicist and science broadcaster. The Guide documents the 385 inventory items, mostly paper format files, that make up the collection. These are grouped into ten series that cover Mason's career as a physicist and science broadcaster. This includes publications, audiovisual material, diaries and personal papers. The total collection occupies 485.8 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent). The Guide is the output of a research database. It was originally produced in both in paper format and online by the Australian Science Archives Project in 1998. An updated version of the Guide was published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre in April 2004. The records were transferred to the Macquarie University Archives. The collection was listed by Rosanne Walker.
