Protointrons in Saccharomyces sp.

We sequenced non-ribosomal RNA from a upf1 deletion mutant of S. cerevisiae, and from wild type S. mikatae and S. bayanus, and identified a new class of yeast introns.本研究对酿酒酵母（S. cerevisiae）的upf1缺失突变体、米氏酵母（S. mikatae）以及巴纳斯酵母（S. bayanus）的野生型菌株的非核糖体RNA进行了测序，并鉴定出一类新型酵母内含子。
