资源简介:
Data OverviewData from intermittent flow respirometry, critical thermal maxima, and critical thermal minima experiments associated with Vaughan et al. 2025. All experimental datasheets include the species name (Cnovi = Cheilodipterus novemstriatus, Epul = Ecsenius pulcher, and Sghan = Scolopsis ghanam) as well as their acclimitisation temperature (18, 22, 27, 31.5, or 35.5 Celsius), body mass in grams (MassG), and population origin (AG = Arabian/Persian Gulf, GO = Gulf of Oman). The units for the critical thermal limits data and the thermal safety margin data are degrees Celsius. The units for the respirometry data are mgO2 kg-1 hour-1. The respirometry data have been corrected for background respiration as described in Vaughan et al. 2025.Please note that two versions of the respirometry data have been uploaded. 'All_resp_data.csv' contains the SMR, MMR, and AS data. 'All_species_SCALED_MO2_data.csv' contains the same data but scaled to remove the effect of body mass using the R-script available in Johansen et al. 2024.ReferencesJohansen, J.L., Mitchell, M.D., Vaughan, G.O., Ripley, D.M., Shiels, H.A. and Burt, J.A., 2024.
