G-Quadruplex Density in Nematode Introns: Scripts and Processed Data

We performed a comparative genomic analysis of G-quadruplex (G4) forming potential in introns across 153 nematode species from WormBase ParaSite release WBPS19. Species span five phylogenetic clades (I, III, IVa, IVb, V) and four lifestyle categories (free-living, animal-parasitic, plant-parasitic, entomopathogenic). G4 sequences were detected using three complementary methods (regex pattern matching, G4Hunter scoring, and consensus). Statistical analyses included OLS regression, phylogenetic generalized least squares (PGLS) with a 149-species molecular phylogeny, Kruskal-Wallis tests, jackknife sensitivity analysis, and GO enrichment analysis.
