Data Set Overview The data from the ROSETTA PLASMA CONSORTIUM (RPC) Fluxgate Magnetometer(MAG)was submitted by Ingo Richter (TM) for the RPCMAG team. The PI of the team is KarlHeinz Glassmeier. The data have been measured during the COMET ESCORT 4 Phase of ROSETTA. Included are the following subphases: MTP0022 STP0079 from 20151020T23:25 to 20151027T23:25 MTP0022 STP0080 from 20151027T23:25 to 20151103T23:25 MTP0022 STP0081 from 20151103T23:25 to 20151110T23:25 MTP0022 STP0082 from 20151110T23:25 to 20151117T23:25 MTP0023 STP0083 from 20151117T23:25 to 20151124T23:25 MTP0023 STP0084 from 20151124T23:25 to 20151201T23:25 MTP0023 STP0085 from 20151201T23:25 to 20151208T23:25 MTP0023 STP0086 from 20151208T23:25 to 20151215T23:25 MTP0024 STP0087 from 20151215T23:25 to 20151222T23:25 MTP0024 STP0088 from 20151222T23:25 to 20151229T23:25 MTP0024 STP0089 from 20151229T23:25 to 20160105T23:25 MTP0024 STP0090 from 20160105T23:25 to 20160112T23:25 All magnetic field data are edited raw data. That means the data represent the 3 components of the magnetic field measured in counts of the used 20 bit ADC. Data are given in instrument coordinates. Neither any filtering nor any calibration has been applied to the data. Any s/c generated noise and s/c caused residual magnetic fields are not eliminated. The data are sorted by the sensor (OB: outboard sensor, IB: inboard sensor)and the measurement mode (M1..M6). They can uniquely be identified by their file names. Normally the OB is the Primary (Pri) and the IB is the Secondary (Sec) sensor. However, this order can be toggled by TCs. This feature has been tested especially during the commissioning phases. In cases where the PRIMARY and SECONDARY sensor were toggled the individual data files (OB/IB) will contain data measured with different sampling rates according to the actual sampling rates of truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
