Data Governance and Sovereignty Dataset

The goal of this survey data is to understand conceptual data governance model for data stewardship in a multi-actor value chain, particularly in the context of Data strategy for National Road Authorities (NRAs) and road operators within the DROIDS project. A Data governance Model defines a framework of decision-making rights and processes with regard to the definition, creation, processing, and use of data. The DROIDS project (Digital Road Operator Information and Data Strategy: commissioned by CEDR.eu) aims to provide NRAs, and road operators with increased knowledge and support to benefit from digitalisation as they evolve into digital road operators. Understanding standardisation needs across various digital representations is crucial for effective data exchange and collaboration in this domain. You can read more about DROIDS project here https://www.droids-project.eu/ This survey data aims to explores the participants organization's experience with data sharing/ data management practices, existing efforts in related fields, the challenges faced due to a lack of standardization, and your views on the benefits of governing data usage in representing phenomena in digital presentations such as digital models, digital shadows and digital twins. The insights are valuable to understand stakeholder perspectives on the quality and trust in data in digital presentations.
