A dataset of particulate excess barium concentration and twilight zone organic carbon remineralization flux in the western North Pacific

This dataset is based on an article in submission entitled "Quantifying organic carbon remineralization in the twilight zone of the western North Pacific using particulate excess barium", which includes:Table 1:  Concentrations of total particulate Ba (PBa), total particulate Al (PAl), particulate excess Ba (PBaxs), dissolved oxygen (DO), and apparent oxygen utilization (AOU), water mass age (τ), twilight zone organic carbon remineralization flux (FOC_remineral), euphotic zone net primary production (NPP) and export production (EP), and carbon export efficiency (e-ratio) and remineralization ratio (r-ratio) at stations in the western North Pacific and South China Sea.Table 2: Summary of twilight zone organic carbon remineralization fluxes (FOC_remineral) in global open oceans and marginal seas.
