CAM reagent was synthesized and used to uniquely convert cysteine residues, under mild conditions, into trypsin-recognsable sites. We apply this cysteine-capping methodology in the identification of missense variants in HCT-15 cell lines.2-bromoethylamine (BEA)was used as controls, for cysteine capping and subjected to similar trypsin treatment.
