Differentially expressed genes were identified in lung endothelial cells of CLP-treated mice compared to sham-treated controls and after treatment with sitagliptin. Sitagliptin strongly reduced the inflamatory response. Overall design: Sepsis was induced in mice by CLP (Cecal Ligation Puncture). Some mice were treated with sitagliptin. Endothelial cells from the lungs of CLP-treated, CLP plus sitagliptin, sham-treated and untreated mice were isolated and subjected to RNAseq analysis. Analysis was done in two batches, this is batch 1.
