Dental Stem Cells in Regenerative Medicine: Advances and Applications
收藏资源简介:
This literature-based review by Dr. Noor Ul Ain Ahsan explores the rapidly growing field of dental stem cells (DSCs)and their transformative potential in regenerative medicine. The work summarizes key advances in the biology, isolation, and therapeutic applications of various DSC types including dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs), stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED), periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs), stem cells from the apical papilla (SCAP), and dental follicle stem cells (DFSCs). The review highlights the ability of DSCs to regenerate dentin, bone, neural, and vascular tissues, as well as their immunomodulatory properties that contribute to tissue repair.Overall, this publication provides an insightful synthesis of current research trends and challenges in utilizing dental stem cells for future clinical and biomedical innovations.
