VERI-Wild dataset was captured over one month (30×24h) from a large closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system composed of 174 cameras deployed across a large urban area covering over 200 square kilometers. After data cleaning and annotation, this dataset contains 416,314 vehicle images of 40,671 distinct vehicles. The notable distinctiveness of this dataset lies in the variations in illumination and weather conditions induced by its long temporal span, which can be utilized for research in fields such as object detection.
