This repository contains the OWL ontology file developed as part of the paper Ontology-based Course Recommendation, published in the Proceedings of the 2024 Conference Society 5.0 – Innovation for Sustainable and Inclusive Social Good (4th International Conference on Society 5.0).
The ontology was created to support ontology-based course recommendation within the Master of Science in Business Information Systems program at the FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. It models domain knowledge extracted from course descriptions to enable semantic matching between student preferences and available courses.
