This dataset compiles the basic information of Beisong Reservoir in Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City, collected in 2021 by the Water Affairs Bureau of Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City. Beisong Reservoir is located 3 kilometers northeast of Qianshan Town, Xuwen County, situated at the lower reaches of Beisong River. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Water Affairs Bureau of Xuwen County, with daily management conducted by the Beisong Reservoir Management Institute of Xuwen County. The management entity is a quasi-public welfare public institution at the regular section-level subsidized by fiscal funds. The reservoir project consists of two major parts: the hub works and the irrigation district. It is a medium-sized water conservancy project focusing on irrigation, with comprehensive utilization functions including flood control, power generation, aquaculture and other related applications.
