Soil Gas and Physical Data from Stengl Lost Pines

This dataset includes field based soil CO2 and O2, soil moisture, and soil temperature collected calcite-free soil pits between March 2020 and April 20201 from an experimental station at the University of Texas Stengl Lost Pines Biological Station outside of Bastrop, Texas in the United States. "SLP-Resp-AllDayAvg.xlsx" contains daily averages of all CO2 data and the average of associated volumetric water and soil temperature from the closest hour to the individual gas measurements at 15, 30, and 60 cm depth. "SLP-Resp-IndividualGasWells.xlsx" contains all soil and associated atmosphere CO2 and O2 measurements, as well as gas anyzer flow rates. Data flag columns indicate if all datat is good or if there is a problem with an individual CO2 or O2 measurement. Error codes describe what the particular problem was. "SLP-Resp-OvernightGasData.xlsx" contains averages of all overnight CO2 and Apparent Respiratory Quotient (ARQ) data and the average of associated volumetric water and soil temperature from the closest hour to the individual gas measurements at 15, 30, and 60 cm depth. "SLP-Resp-PhysicalDailyAvg.xlsx" contains daily averages of soil temperature and volumetric water conent at 5, 30, and 60 cm depth from all soil pits. Air temperature, relative humidity, and rainfall data are also included.
