PLAXIS Input Files – Submarine Power Cable Settlement in Structured Finnish Clay

This dataset contains the results of PLAXIS 2D simulations for the settlement behavior of submarine power cables. The simulations were conducted to investigate mitigation strategies for cable sinking and increase resiliency Software Requirements:- **PLAXIS 2D** version: 22.02.00.1078- The files were developed and tested using PLAXIS 2D, with the Soft Soil Creep constitutive model. How to Use:1. Open the `.plxdat` or `.p2dx` file in PLAXIS 2D.2. Run the model from the **Staged Construction** phase.3. Check results for vertical displacement (`uy`), excess pore pressure, settlement profile, and failure profile.4. Refer to the accompanying journal article for the interpretation of results.5. Two EXCEL files are provided; one contains raw simulation data, and the other is used in MATLAB code to derive the Modified. Compression Index curve.
