Elateroidea species Genome sequencing

This Bioproject involves Elateroidea samples we have collected in China, mainly including Elateridae (click beetles), Eucnemidae (false click beetles), and Throscidae (small false click beetles). The project's primary purpose is to amplify the mitochondrial genome sequences of Elateroidea and construct a phylogenetic tree based on sequences of the coding sequence. In Eucnemidae and Throscidae beetles, few studies on mitochondrial genome-based phylogenetic analysis. We hope to analyze the evolutionary status of various groups in the superfamily Elateroidea through the phylogenetic tree and wish to reconstruct the taxonomic system of each family level of Elateroidea and revise the species and genus whose taxonomic status is unclear.
