How ERP implementation impacts internal control on a real estate business

This independent study aims to provide explanation on how ERP success impact the effectiveness of internal control procedures. In particularly, develops and evaluates using empirical data gathered from operational levels and executive levels, totally seven persons during 2018- 2019 of implementation to go-live plan with the context of a real estate and construction environment in Thailand. For the purpose of establishing the links between ERP factors and success and the efficacy of internal control processes, this research use COSO internal control 2013 framework as a scope of the research. Results show that ERP implementation has a significant positive impact on firm’s internal control through from three phases starting, implementing, and live phases. The findings contribute to academic knowledge by illuminating how ERPs affect internal control and use this clarification to improve their efficiency, features and systems requirements.
