资源简介:
belonging to the family Cyprinidae, is a fish species endemic to the Irrawaddy River system in Yunnan Province. Since its original description, the genetic reconstruction of this species has not been fully elucidated. This study comprehensively reports the complete mitochondrial genome of G. tengchongensis and analyzes its phylogenetic relationships. The mitochondrial genome of G. tengchongensis is 16,898 base pairs long, comprising 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and two non-coding control regions. Phylogenetic analyses based on 13 PCGs, using both maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference methods, yielded consistent results, revealing a close evolutionary relationship between G. tengchongensis and its congeners G. tibetana and G. dengba. These findings provide a solid foundation for further taxonomic and phylogenetic research within the genus Garra.
