资源简介:

Summary:The data and scripts presented were used to assess the impact of high temperature and its interaction with pesticide resistance on three life-history traits (survival, developmental time and fertility) in the crop pest Tetranychus urticae. Firstly, using a susceptible population to etoxazole, we tested how different high temperatures affected female and male developmental time, the number of surviving juveniles, daily fecundity and offspring number, by exposing mites to either 25 (control), 33, 35, 36 or 37°C during their development. Then, we tested how temperature (25 or 36°C) and pesticide resistance (using susceptible and resistant populations) affected female and male developmental time, the number of surviving juveniles, offspring number and sex ratio. Files available:We provide 3 .R files (Script_statistical_analysis_high_temperatures, Script_statistical_analysis_interaction_temperature_pesticide_resistance, Script_figures) and 8 .csv files (Dataset_devtime_high_temperatures, Dataset_fert_high_temperatures, Dataset_devtime_interaction_temperature_pesticide_resistance, Dataset_fert_interaction_temperature_pesticide_resistance, Dataset_means_devtime_high_temperatures, Dataset_means_fert_high_temperatures, Dataset_means_devtime_interaction_temperature_pesticide_resistance, Dataset_means_fert_interaction_temperature_pesticide_resistance).
