Mw 7.5 Noto Earthquake (Japan) ESI-07 Dataset and ESI-07 Intensity Grid Map This dataset contains a comprehensive collection of 44 491 Environmental Earthquake Effects (EEEs) registered for the Mw 7.5 Noto Earthquake (Japan), compiled and classified according to the ESI-07 (Environmental Seismic Intensity) scale. The dataset includes: a) an .xlsx file and a GeoPackage (.gpkg) file with georeferenced EEEs, including: Site ID, Coordinates (Latitude/Longitude), EEE Type, ESI-07 assigned intensity, Data type and source, Descriptive fields (where available); b) two ESI-07 intensity grid maps: A 1x1 km² resolution grid and a 5x5 km² resolution grid.These were generated through GIS-based spatial analysis, assigning the maximum ESI value for each cell. c) 262 EEEs descriptive tables. Each entry includes the following attributes: site ID, upload date, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude in decimal degrees), municipality, EEE type, EEE description, ESI-07 intensity value, photographic documentation, and bibliographic references. This dataset supports macroseismic research, seismic hazard assessment, and spatial pattern analysis of earthquake induced environmental effects. It is suitable for integration in GIS platforms and compatible with interdisciplinary studies involving geology, seismology, and risk mapping.
