1) Crop Growth Monitoring: Use remote sensing parameters to assess crop growth status, hydrothermal environmental stresses and other related contents, so as to provide support for field management and yield forecast analysis.
2) Crop Planting Area Estimation: Identify different crop types by using remote sensing electromagnetic spectrum information, and estimate the crop planting area.
3) Yield Estimation: Estimate the yield per unit area of different crops, and calculate the total crop yield by combining the planting area.
4) Drought Monitoring: Establish drought assessment models using vegetation and surface temperature information from satellite remote sensing, or soil moisture information, to determine drought distribution, drought-affected area and drought severity, and estimate the potential impact on crop yields.
