depalmitoylated eNOS translocates from plasma membrane

Depalmitoylated, eNOS is thought to be displaced from the plasma membrane and redistributed to other intracellular membranes, including the Golgi, where re-palmitoylation occurs. The mechanism of transport from the plasma membrane is unknown.
