In the rapidly evolving manufacturing sector, the ability to leverage data effectively has become a critical determinant of operational efficiency and competitive advantage. This independent study, titled "A Data Management Solution for Battery Manufacturer," investigates the challenges posed by poor data management within a battery manufacturing organization and proposes a comprehensive solution to address these issues. The study identifies key pain points, including scattered information sources, inconsistent data quality, and a lack of standardized processes, which impede decision-making and operational performance.By employing a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative insights and quantitative analysis, the research highlights the need for a centralized, integrated data management system. It emphasizes the role of data governance, organizational alignment, and advanced technological tools such as data integration platforms to streamline data flow and ensure accuracy. The study also explores how such a system can drive value creation, enhance forecasting accuracy, and enable data-driven decisions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.Findings from this research demonstrate the potential benefits of implementing a unified data management solution, including reduced manual workload, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced collaboration across departments. The proposed framework provides actionable recommendations for establishing a sustainable data management infrastructure, ensuring that the organization can adapt to future challenges while maintaining a competitive edge.
