This collection comprises photographs, documents, site records and a CAD drawing from an archaeological evaluation on land south-west of Hill Farm House carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust in March 2024. No trace of the Roman road thought to have linked Mistley with Colchester was found along its projected route. Two parallel ditches were uncovered in the northern half of the site.
