Production of tea in West Bengal, India FY 2023, by category

West Bengal, the eastern Indian state produced tea amounting to over 166 million kilograms in fiscal year 2023. Darjeeling tea which is famous for its special aroma is grown in the Darjeeling district of this eastern state. Over 1.6 million kilograms of this tea were produced that year.
