To examine whether the miRNAs are involved in the regulation of immune-related genes, RNA-sequencing was performed. The adult female mosquitoes were infected with Metarhizium anisopliae whereas Tween-80 was kept as control, and fat body tissues were dissected at 24, 48 and 72 hours post-infection and subjected to sRNA-seq.
