Microstructure and mechanical properties of Ni foam/stainless steel joint brazed with Ni-based alloy.

Ni foam/SS 304 for an advanced heat exchanger was successfully brazed at 1030–1090 °C for 0–60 min using MBF 20 filler metal in a high-vacuum furnace. The mechanical properties and microstructural evolution were investigated in this study.
