Companies with the most patent applications in digital communications 2020

Data on the companies with the most patent applications in the digital communications field filed with the European Patent Office (EPO) in 2020 shows that the Chinese company Huawei filed 1,868 patent applications, the largest number of digital communications patent applications with the EPO in 2020. Second and third were Ericsson and Qualcomm with 1,207 and 1,189 patent applications respectively.
