PHILOSOPHICAL AND SEMIOTIC FOUNDATIONS OF THE LIGHT-SHADOW OPPOSITION IN UZBEK POETIC THOUGHT
收藏资源简介:
This article investigates the philosophical and semiotic foundations of the light-shadow opposition in Uzbek poetic thought, focusing on the relationship between natural imagery, cultural symbolism, and contextual meaning formation. Drawing on structural semiotics, cultural semiotics, and conceptual metaphor theory, the study examines selected poetic works by Alisher Navoi, Abdulhamid Cholpon, Usmon Nosir, Hamid Olimjon, and Usmon Azim. The research employs qualitative textual analysis, contextual interpretation, and comparative semiotic analysis to identify the principal mechanisms through which light and shadow acquire symbolic significance in different poetic environments. The findings contribute to the study of Uzbek literary semiotics by demonstrating that the meaning of light-shadow imagery emerges through the interaction of cultural conventions, poetic composition, and individual artistic intention.
