Fixed waste - Schedules and location

The waste disposal facilities of the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) are facilities open to individuals and professionals. They allow the disposal of specific and large waste that is not taken care of in the collection of household waste: e.g. furniture, waste electrical and electronic equipment, rubble, or specific diffuse waste... to find out more, consult the [dedicated page of the MEL website] (https://www.lillemetropole.fr/your-daily/living-la-mel/waste management/waste shops). This dataset presents the locations of the MEL's fixed waste sites with: * their opening hours, * their addresses officially recognised by the administration (in BAN format), * a specific field indicates whether the waste disposal facility is in operation or temporarily closed. ### Background The MEL has 13 fixed waste sites on its territory, or about 1 per 90,000 inhabitants. There were 1.57 million crossings in 2022. ### Method This dataset evolves little. The most modified field is that of schedules that can be adapted during particular periods (seasonalities, works, ...). Several projects for the construction of new waste sites are under way. The data will be integrated into the dataset as it goes along.
