By analyzing the visit trajectories of millions of anonymous mobile phone users to various locations provided by SafeGraph, daily and weekly dynamic origin-destination (O-D) population flows are calculated, aggregated, and inferred across three geographic scales: census tracts, counties, and states. Over time, such human mobility datasets with high spatiotemporal resolution across different geographic scales can help monitor epidemic transmission dynamics, inform public health policy-making, and deepen our understanding of changes in human behavior during an unprecedented public health crisis.
