The dataset includes 16S and 18S amplicon sequences from wetland biomat in Prado Wetlands, California, USA; and in lab-scale bioreactors seeded with the wetland biomat that were used for subsequent experiments. The goal of these experiments was to investigate the mechanisms of zinc and copper diel cycling in the water column of these wetlands.
