A large‐scale field experiment of artificially caused landslides with replications revealed the response of the ground‐dwelling beetle community to landslides. Ecology and Evolution, 13(3), e9939. <br> These files contain species composition and abundance data of ground-dwelling beetles and body size data of all individuals of collected beetles. Species composition and abundance data were collected in the Teshio, Nakagawa, and Uryu Experimental Forests of Hokkaido University in northern Hokkaido, Japan in July and August 2021. The setting in which species composition and abundance data were collected were artificially caused landslide sites or undisturbed forests. Body size data were obtained by measuring all individuals of the collected beetles in the following manner: 1) digital images of all individuals of the collected beetles were taken with a digital camera (Tough TG-6, Olympus, Tokyo), 2) the lengths of the head, pronotum, and elytron were measured, using ImageJ 1.53k, 3) the sum of these lengths was used as body size.
