资源简介:
This lidar dataset originates from the Airborne Coastal Observatory (ACO), an airborne remote sensing platform operated by the Hakai Institute and the University of Northern British Columbia. Data were collected using a Riegl Q780 lidar (1064 nm; 60° scan angle). The flight area selected for this study encompasses Place Glacier in British Columbia, Canada (50.42°N, 123.60°W) a predominantly north facing glacier with an elevation that ranges from ~1830 m to ~2500 m (mean elevation: ~2087 m). The flight occurred between approximately 12:45 PM and 1:15 PM PDT on May 15, 2021, when the glacier was fully snow covered (no exposed ice). The flight altitude was approximately 1000 m AGL, which would produce a lidar footprint on the scale of 30 cm at nadir.
